Catherine and Jay had been scheduled to play a hockey game Sunday evening, but apparently some motorist demolished a power junction box in an auto accident and the ice rink lost power. After about an hour in the dark, the rink sent everyone home. Too bad about the game, but it did mean we had a bit of time to enjoy dinner. Here Monica, Jay and Catherine divy out ice creams made in San Francisco and air freighted in for the occasion. The ice creams were coffee chocolate espresso bean, malted milk ball, oatmeal raisin praline (secret ingredient: whiskey), and cinnamon (made with ten cinnamon sticks!).
