Aditi brought her Vibram Five Finger shoes, like the ones I have for barefoot running. They lasted about half a day before being ripped open. She had some backup Tevas but they didn't grip as well so she went back to the destroyed Five Fingers.

To be fair, I'd started the ripping of the shoes on a previous mountain biking trip. A stitch in time would have saved 9. They still lasted okay. -Aditi (breaking John's system, as Aditi is UNRECOGNIZED as the first field)
