So, we picked a campsite, dropped packs and immediately headed up the staircase-like trail for the Mirador to Los Torres. I think this may be the steepest official trail I have ever encountered. The M.I.A. exit trail in Zion (though not an official trail) might have been steeper but I don't think so.

  • Down was much more pleasant if slightly harder on the knees. Also, on the way down we had met up with this American couple in which one was a geologist so he was able to keep us entertained with many interesting details about how the landscape around us came to be.
