Wow! This is a fascinating and dramatic difference from what we saw just one month earlier. There was no overflow "water cannon" downstream but the falls at the left looked like something out of the Pacific Northwest. Compare with Monica's Flickr picture (and maybe a few of the adjacent one). Did you ever check out Monica's photos for comparison? I thought this was really dramatically different.

I did look at Monica's ... the difference was so extreme I felt it had to be because they "manage" the water flow. When you saw it they were sending water to the overflows that cascade down the left side rocks; when we were there it was being piped to that outlet.
