Bodie is now a California State Park and is kept in a state of arrested decay. That is, they don't really do much, other than prop up the buildings to make sure they can't fall over and cement over the mine shafts so tourists don't take the tomb ride to the bottom.

I was going to contend that concrete isn't a verb. But I was wrong; it is. Now I know. But Word Net's definition is to "cover with cement" so my question to you is, would using the verb concrete really be any more factually accurate? http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3Aconcrete

a) I think that definition is terrible, because to "cover with cement" would mean to put some powder substance down... which would then not really do anything. b) I think I would say "fill the mine shafts with concrete" and be done with it.
