I don't remember the names of the falls :( Was that the one I was convinced was basically just some rapids, until after we crossed (via bridge) and hiked more, and finally had a view of a giant falls that would kill you if you went over it?

Probably. We hiked along Panorama Cliff (also visible) and that is the most significant river we would have had to cross that doesn't have a bridge. The rivers were fairly full that year; that was exciting!
