Looks might imposing to me. Do you carry trail guides with you, or do you study / memorize this stuff before you leave?

Preferably both. :-D Since Monica and I recognized this would be a challenge for us (mostly because of the length of the route) we spent the week before reviewing the "beta" (climbers' word for trail and route information) at night. Then, we took multiple printed out copies of the beta, and put them in plastic zip locks and kept them in our pockets to refer to on the climb.
