It is scenic, no doubt of that. It is a tidal body of water, and also glacier fed. But the sediments in glacial water won't stay suspended in sea water, so they sink and make for a very very find muddy surface which is trecherous to walk on at low tide. You'll find it very difficult to move your feet (quicksand, anyone?) and people have had to be rescued by helicopter as the tide comes in. This is a low tide picture.
